Roald Dahl Day

Date: 13th Sep 2016 @ 12:38pm

Roald Dahl Day was a huge success with lots of amazing costumes to be seen.  The children enjoyed different activities every hour to celebrate the wondeful stories Roald Dahl wrote.  The pupils also took part in a whole school assembly led by Miss France and Mrs. Faulkner.  In an interesting turn of events (which involved some 'Marvellous Medicine'), Mr. Hurst was transformed from being grumpy to being happy!  Evidently, the magic of Roald Dahl can touch us all!

Year 6 pupil, Tom, had this to say:

'Thank you to Mrs. Faulkner and Miss France for putting on such a fantastic day and to all the teachers too.  Also, a huge thank you to Mrs. Tiernan for letting this amazing event go ahead.  It is a privilege to be in a school with such dedicated teachers who make learning fun.  You deserve a medal for putting up with us!  It was amazing to see all the children dressed up in their outfits.  Thank you once again to everyone.'

Thanks Tom for your kind words.  Enjoy the rest of the day!
