Table Tennis Championships

Cheshire Schools’ Table Tennis Association Team Championships:
Eight boys and eight girls represented St. Bede’s in the annual Cheshire School’s Table Tennis Championships held at the Widnes Table Tennis Centre. Due to the extremely high standard of table tennis being played at St. Bede’s, we were able to enter two teams of 4 boys and 4 girls.
I am pleased to report that after nearly 3 hours of “blocking” and “smashing”, all four teams had performances they can be truly proud of. So much so, that St. Bede’s now have the best boys and girls teams in Cheshire – a fantastic achievement!

The victorious teams have now been given the honour of representing Cheshire at the “Zone” Finals held in Blackburn in February. A big well done to all the children who took part.
