'Poppy Field' by Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo's moving account of one family's relationship with the poppy fields near Ypres is a reminder of the immense sacrifice that service men and women made in the World Wars. 

We are sharing this book with all pupils this week leading up to Remembrance Day. Remembrance Sunday, which falls on 11th November 2018, is a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom. 

A £1 donation from the sale of each book goes to the British Legion.
