Go Run for Fun

Park Fun Run 2018

Year 6 were invited to take part in the Park Fun Run on 7th June 2018.

The sun shone and with the bright pink T-Shirts, the children were easily recognisable.

Run for Fun was the theme and along with other Widnes Schools Year 6 completed a lap of the park with Olympic Athlete and The Voice celebrity  Jasmin Sawyers who led the way.  We had a winner in Daniel Lewis followed close behind by other members of Year 6.  The photographs highlight the fun we had and the children, as always, were amazing and made us feel very proud.

It was a wonderful morning and the children of St Bede’s spontaneously  burst into song when they heard music from The Greatest Showman.  They literally brought the park to a standstill with their rendition of A Million Dreams.  Passers-by stopped to listen and the organisers of the event have uploaded the children singing onto their  Ineos Facebook page.
